From May 4–5, 2026, Buss-SMS-Canzler GmbH will present e**nergy-efficient sludge drying with high-temperature heat pump technology at IFAT Munich**, Germany.

We are pleased to present our latest innovation for the wastewater sector: the **D-DRYER**** HTHP**, a [sewage sludge drying](https://www.sms-vt.com/industries/environment/sewage-sludge-drying) system featuring **energy recovery using a high-temperature heat pump**, developed in cooperation with ***FE by France Evaporation***.

The system recovers energy from vapours and reuses it within the process, enabling wastewater treatment plants to **reduce energy consumption, lower operating costs and significantly decrease CO₂ emissions**.
